Tiny Gizmo the Shih Tzu-terrier Mix

She's an 11 year old Shih Tzu/Jack Russell Terrier mix. She's approx. 12 pounds with excellent health and beautiful teeth for a dog her age. She is spayed, up-to-date on all shots and is housetrained. Gizmo is good with other dogs and has no interest in cats whatsoever. She has good recall, will not run off and has wonderful manners when you open the front door. She sits for her food and treats, stands on her hind legs when she wants a little affection or when she needs to go outside. Gizmo lives to play fetch with her small ball. If you throw her ball for her, she will be your loyal friend forever. And she will bring it back every time! Gizmo enjoys a little lap-time in the evenings, but she also knows how to be a dog and will sleep in her own bed. She is easy to care for and doesn't bark much. Gizmo would appreciate someone who will love her and give her the security of retirement. No small/young children, teens are fine. She is in the Birmingham AL area. Transport can be arranged.
