Jack Loves People and Wants to Be Part of Your Family!

LOCATION: BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA. Jack is a “High Mix” Black Lab. He is mostly Labrador Retriever, but does have a small white patch on his chest. Whatever his mix is, there is no doubt this is a stunning fellow. He can actually "smile" when happy, and he also "talks" when you talk to him. He'll talk as long as you do! Approx. 3 years old and is FULLY VETTED. He weighs 70 lbs. Jack likes kids and is enthusiastic--our young boys love Jack and hang all over him, but a child not used to large dogs might be apprehensive---it depends on the child. To adopt Jack, must have fence (6 ft. or higher). He is an “inside only” dog (is housebroken) but does need room to play each day. He is a fun, upbeat boy who is extremely intelligent. He knows basic commands (sit, shake), but would LOVE for you to teach him more. WANTS HIS OWN FAMILY---the person or family who owns Jack needs to be "DOG-CENTERED" and want a dog to be a part of their life, a member of the family. Jack is not a dog you stick out in the backyard and interact with once a day. He enjoys a walk in the woods, hanging out to watch TV, treats of any kind. Loves to bark at TRUCKS (it's something about the noise they make) and would chase them if allowed. NO CATS for Jack--if they run, he'll chase them.
