Pablo Picasso

This sweet little dog looks like he stepped right out of a Picasso painting. They add real charm and character to this laid-back fellow. Pablo is approx. 3-4 years old, weighs 15 lbs., and is a Chihuahua/Boston Terrier mix. He has the face of a Chihuahua, the body of a terrier. Looks a bit like a Jack Russell, but has a much calmer personality. Loves people, enjoys sitting in your lap for a good petting. Pablo is crate trained. His favorite thing in the world is to go for walks. There's a reason for that: when his owners had their home foreclosed, they packed their bags and left Pablo behind, tied to a chain in the backyard. We suspect he had been chained most of his life, because going for walks is a great joy for him. Pablo was one day away from being put to sleep at Animal Control: he was heartworm positive and considered unadoptable. We took one look at him and fell in love. He finishes his heartworm treatment May 30th and is then ready for his forever home. Up to date on all shots. His dream home would have a secure fence where he could spend some time exploring the outdoors. But if that's not possible, daily leashed walks would suffice! Can't be offleash outside a fence, he really wants to go exploring and would wander. Pablo is an inside dog and is a GREAT companion animal, especially for a single person or older couple. You could not ask for a better buddy. He loves just hanging out, enjoying whatever you want to do. This is one relaxed, easy-going, good natured fellow who is happy to be alive. The only time he gets excitable is around cats....so probably needs a home without felines. A GREAT, ONE-OF-A-KIND DOG. We love this little guy, and know you will, too.
