Maxie the Miracle Pup

My name is Maxie and I had a very rough start in life. I was found on the side of the road and my face was infected. I was tiny, no mom in sight, and my immune system couldn't fight off a fungal infection. I'm healthy, my immune system is BACK and better than ever, and my fur is growing back on my face--it's growing back so fast everyone is amazed. The first vet I went to didn't understand my condition and wanted to euthanize me. But my rescuer said NO WAY. Now, I'm just like any other playful pup. I love people and I love attention. Playing is my favorite thing to do, of course. I'm a lucky girl, and I could be your lucky charm. I need a great home with a family who knows that the most important thing in life is to never give up.
